Celebrating Valentine’s Day in School

Every store I see is filled with roses, chocolate, and pink cards…Valentine’s Day is around the corner! 

As a teachers, how do I celebrate Valentine’s Day in school? Below are easy lesson ideas that are inclusive, diverse, and lots of fun!

Self-esteem Activities

So often the focus is on “who we love” instead of, “what I love about myself.” This week can be a great opportunity to discuss self-esteem with students. That’s why I’m a fan of this free “What I Love About Myself” craft for younger students.
